Luceana Tree
has multiple uses and is suitable for particle board, roofing felt, hardboard,
textiles, nonwoven fibers, paper making, rope, building materials, oil
absorbent, soil erosion mats, fuel briquettes and rich organic fertilizer.
Its' diverse uses in the tropics include use in tropical revegetation
of eroded hill slopes, windbreaks , shade and nurse plants for tropical
crops, and as an ornamental.
Leucaena is an almost perfect livestock feed.
